2021 was a record year for IPO’s in London with over 130 companies having joined the London Stock Markets. In spite of the challenges faced by COVID, 2021 was the strongest year for fundraisings since 2007.
2021 was also the most successful year for capital raising since 2007 for AIM (The London Stock Exchanges Growth Market). Companies that joined AIM during 2021 raised over £3bn. The top 10 largest IPO’s on AIM by amount raised were, Life Science REIT plc (£350m), Revolution Beauty Group (£300m), and Victorian Plumbing Group plc (£298m).
